It's time to take stock of 2022. Traditionally, the Finnish scene has produced a lot of cool black metal albums. Every year my top is slowly expanding and this time I decided to make a list of 15 albums, these are the most liked records of this outgoing year. I added two releases from some collective at once, because they reflect the mood together as holistically as possible.

How could you possibly include the newest Satanic Warmaster in your list when it literally came out December 30th. For me personally and album has to resonate with me for a good couple of weeks or even months before I make any kind of definitive cut like that
